inXile Entertainment Returns to Crowfunding With Wasteland 3 - Ambitious Sequel to Include Single and Multiplayer
inXile Entertainment announces Wasteland 3, sequel to 2014’s Wasteland 2, which stands as one of the most successful videogame crowdfunding projects, and delivering with an 87 Metacritic score. The Wasteland 3 crowdfunding campaign on Fig offers both equity and rewards options, with an overall goal of raising $2.75M USD, $2.25M coming from equity.
“If a platform like Fig had existed back when we kickstarted the Wasteland 2 campaign, investors would have been very happy,” said Brian Fargo, CEO, inXile Entertainment. “We want to take our Wasteland franchise to a darker and brutal post-apocalyptic setting that builds on the foundation of Wasteland 2. A game that is ambitious in reactivity and with new features like multi-player and the integration of vehicles into the world.”
In Wasteland 3, inXile builds upon its award-winning franchise, beginning shortly after the end of Wasteland, with the player starting the game as the sole survivor of Team November, a Ranger squad dispatched to the icy Colorado wastes. Colorado is a land of buried secrets, lost technology, fearsome lunatics, and deadly factions, most of which have never heard of the Desert Rangers.

Wasteland 3 is party-based roleplaying game, playable in single-player or multiplayer, with a renewed focus on reactivity and strategic combat.
• Multi-Player: Playable in single- and multiplayer experiences.
• Combat: Deep turn-based combat, evolving on Wasteland 2's strategic options and unique encounter design. By including vehicles, environmental dangers, and a revamped, more fluid action system, Wasteland 3 evolves from Wasteland 2’s deep tactical turn-based combat and unique encounter design.

• Storyline: Wasteland 3 will feature a deep and engaging story utilizing a newly-revamped dialog tree system from the celebrated writers of Torment: Tides of Numenera.

Microids announces Syberia 3 release date delayed to 2017
Upon capturing the enthusiasm of many players, the Syberia saga is back for an even more ambitious third opus. Every day, Kate Walker’s new adventure is polished by the work provided by the development teams to ensure without a doubt that the fans expectation will be rewarded. However, for the reasons explained below, Microids had to make the difficult choice to postpone the game's release to Q1 2017.

Syberia 3 will be available in Q1 2017 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and Mac. It will be fully dubbed in French, Russian, Polish and German with subtitles in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Russian, Polish, Czech, Korean, Brazilian Portuguese, simplified and traditional Chinese. The original soundtrack is composed by Inon Zur (Fallout 4, Dragon Age, Prince of Persia), who has already scored Syberia 2

SimBin Studios, renowned for their racing games but filed for bankruptcy in Sweden back in 2014, is back in business with a brand new UK office in the North-West of England. The Studio is to be headed up by industry veteran, Allan Speed and in collaboration with Sector3 Studios. The focus will be on developing cross platform titles for the current and next gen platforms, primarily in the racing genre.

Hello, my name is Kuroki, Director at oneoreight Studios. We’re a game development studio established in April of 2012 and based in Tokyo, Japan. Our motto: “To make interesting games that we believe in.” That may seem like a very broad mission statement, but it’s important for us that we make games that we enjoy playing. And playing a hero soldier fighting for the survival of Earth is something we think is extremely appealing with our first game on PS4, Earth’s Dawn.
The first thing players will notice in our game is the unique, 2D art style. The game takes place in the future when alien invaders known as the E.B.E. have destroyed much of Earth. So we needed the setting to be dark and threatening. This is reflected not only in the game’s atmosphere, but also the look of soldiers, the deadly looking weapons, and of course, the enemies.
The gameplay in Earth’s Dawn is fast paced — a mix of shooting and melee attacks so players must learn how make use of gun, sword, and advanced attacks to string together combos. When you add dashing in between your attacks, then you’ll notice the game’s addictive nature. In some battles, players will have their combat skills graded. The more varied and exciting their combat approach, the higher the grade and reward. It’s fun starting with a few slash attacks, knocking the enemy up in the air, jumping into the air with more melee attacks, juggling them in the air with gunshots, and then maybe throw them in-midair to finish a combo. Our dev team is often competing to see who can get the highest number of hits in a combo as we are very competitive!
I’m also very proud of the amount of customization we give the player for both weapons and abilities. As you defeat enemies, you’ll get materials to create new weapons and equipment. When crafting your gear, you can substitute in higher value versions of the components to raise the base stats on an item. If you really enjoy using a particular weapon, you can also sacrifice more resources in order to level it up, making it even more powerful!
We focus on the small details, so we hope you appreciate that the gear you create is reflected on the character in game, such as the flames blazing out of axes as well as the various masks we created.
The skill system is something we worked to fit the theme of the game and to have a lot of depth. The hero is part of an elite fighting force that is using alien E.B.E. technology implanted into their bodies to give them superhuman abilities. As you level up in the game, you learn different skills that will improve your abilities in offense, defense, speed, endurance, and more. As you unlock these, you will also be able to “link” skills together to create new ones! There are more than 100 different skills to customize, so choose wisely how to make your hero!
We hope you enjoy Earth’s Dawn, our very first game coming out November 1 — we’re also very excited to see PS4 box versions in retail stores on the same day!

Hey everyone, we wanted to finish our game 80 years after 1936 but it will now be 81.
Throughout this year we discussed reducing the scope to make a 2016 release, but we made the difficult decision to delay the launch in order to ship with our vision intact. We are happy to announce that Cuphead will be coming to Xbox One, Windows 10 and Steam in Mid-2017.

Xbox One players, prepare for the fight! We are delighted to announce that we are bringing Furi, our frenzied all-boss fighter, to Xbox One.
The game will come to Xbox One at a date to be announced, with exclusive new content, in particular a new boss encounter, that we are teasing about in this one screenshot.
